News

Now YOU can help us from the comfort of your own home!

St Cuthberts is now registered with this fundraising site: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stcuthbertsbirkby

The way it works is …… if you use this site and do any shopping on line with various retailers (there are over 2000 listed on the site including Amazon, Argos, M&S, eBay), the retailer makes a donation to St Cuthberts - the % donation varies between the retailers.

If you follow the link you'll see more info on how it works.
If you do shop on line please consider helping us in the way - it doesn't cost you anything. Also, please consider passing this on to your friends and family as it’s a good way to support St Cuthberts from a distance

And Off We Go!!
We have now had final confirmation of English Heritage Funding, and restoration work starts at St Cuthberts on Monday 25 July. This Sunday, 24 July, will be our last Sunday in the main church for many months and all worship activities will move downstairs. Our pattern of worship will not be affected. As for our minisitry and mission - it will be business as usual!

We look forward to celebrating our return to a dry building and opening our doors once again for worship and community activities. Please pray for us as we get used to our new underground surroundings, and also pray that the work will be completed in good time. Thank you for your support, and keep checking back for updates!
